    Les Mots de Sartre.Henri F. Ellenberger - 1965 - Dialogue 3 (4):433-437.

    Modulation of myosin assembly.Henry F. Epstein - 1988 - Bioessays 9 (6):197-200.
Myosin self‐assembly is generally considered to be the major process in thick filament formation within striated muscles. The biological assembly of myosin into thick filaments is being analysed by genetic dissection as well as biochemical and morphological experiments in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. This work shows that the assembly of myosin is modulated by its biosynthesis and interaction with non‐myosin proteins. Assemblages which generate multiple nascent thick filaments may play a central role in a catalytic cycle of myosin assembly.

Pennsylvania Seasons: Commonwealth Images and Poetry : A Collection of Fifty-Two Pennsylvania Poets.Henry F. Smith - 2007 - University of Scranton Press.
The spectacular and dramatic effects of changing seasons have been a source of inspiration for artists through the ages. Pennsylvania Seasons is a delightful collection of nature-themed poems paired with magisterial landscape photography that captures all the mercurial moods of summer, autumn, winter, and spring. Overflowing with visual and lyric imagery, this book celebrates natural wonders, some preserved in public parks and forests and others lurking in hidden places. Featuring the work of local poets who know the region best, Pennsylvania (...)

This project was undertaken to develop a telelearning knowledge base aimed at making specialized telelearning knowledge accessible to non-specialized practitioners in the field. The challenge stems from a rationale related to a user-centered approach for the software design process, which is focused on learning in the context of professional practice, the bridge to be built between expert and practitioner knowledge, as well as the knowledge valorization of the latter. In order to take into account users and their situated actions, a (...)

    How Conservative Are Evolutionary Anthropologists?Henry F. Lyle Iii & Eric A. Smith - 2012 - Human Nature 23 (3):306-322.
The application of evolutionary theory to human behavior has elicited a variety of critiques, some of which charge that this approach expresses or encourages conservative or reactionary political agendas. In a survey of graduate students in psychology, Tybur, Miller, and Gangestad (Human Nature, 18, 313–328, 2007) found that the political attitudes of those who use an evolutionary approach did not differ from those of other psychology grad students. Here, we present results from a directed online survey of a broad sample (...)

    Economic models are not evolutionary models.Roger J. Sullivan & I. I. I. Henry F. Lyle - 2005 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 28 (6):836-836.
Henrich et al. reject the “selfishness axiom” within a narrowly-defined economic model, and are premature in claiming that they have demonstrated cross-cultural variability in “selfishness” as defined in broader evolutionary theory. We also question whether a key experimental condition, anonymity, can be maintained in the small, cohesive, social groupings employed in the study.
